Kremer Solvent Studio - 250ml

Low-odor alternative to pine turpentine for oil painting. High-purity hydrocarbon solvent with an aromatic content of less than 2%. Thins oil paints and painting mediums and is suitable for cleaning brushes and palettes — without the pungent smell of turpentine.
Kremer Solvent Studio evaporates significantly more slowly than pine turpentine (approx. 11 hours versus approx. 4 hours, thin film at room temperature). As a slow-evaporating thinner, it extends the open time of oil and resin paints — the paint remains workable for longer, giving more scope for wet-in-wet techniques.
For even longer open times, Terpineol is recommended (evaporation time approx. 40 hours under the same conditions).
